The fifth annual Western Award of Excellence generated a surge in nominations for the highest recognition for staff members. For over 50 years the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Western Ontario has grown both nationally and internationally, thanks to the exceptional caliber of our students, the innovation of our faculty and dedication of our staff members.

Western Engineering currently consists of approximately 85 faculty members, 60 staff members and over 1500 undergraduate and graduate students.
